Our Thanksgiving TURKEYS have arrived!

It's year two of raising and growing our Thanksgiving turkeys. And today, 18 broad breasted white turkeys arrived from Schlecht Hatchery. We unbox the turkey poults and move them into the brooder.

Last year we raised 16 turkeys... keeping 3 for us, selling 11, and 2 died throughout the time raising them. It was scary and exciting to raise a new animal and it went better than expected. And it was the most rewarding feeling to provide the 30 lb turkey for our family Thanksgiving.
