The American Dream (raising a large family in the country)
We headed to ArrowRidge for the day - a homesteading, YouTube channel a couple of hours SE of us in mid-Missouri. They are a large family (of 8) that is growing their own food in the garden and with meat chickens and turkeys, stockpiling supplies, harvesting rainwater, and living the American dream of being self-sufficient and raising a family in the country.
We spent a few hours touring the homestead, grilling out, seeing birds (chickens, ducks, turkeys), babies (kittens, birds, humans) and enjoying a relaxing night by a fire. Be sure to check out their channel and tell them we said hello! You won't regret it!
